MUSLIN

Honouring the legacy of Muslin fabric originating from South Asia, which accelerated the industry of western fashion. Once considered a luxurious fabric reserved for the upperclass is now called 'calico' and used mainly for toiles. We aim to bring the spotlight back to the simplicity of this enduring cotton fabric.

Specimen of cotton plant used to weave the finest muslin, even more regal than silk. It grew near Meghna and Ganga rivers and has now gone extinct.
